AISIN free wheel hubs allow the front wheels to rotate freely when unlocked from the front axle. This reduces the mechanical resistance of the front portion of the drivetrain when four wheel drive is not in use.

The robust AISIN locking mechanism provides reliable connection of the drivetrain power to the wheels in four wheel drive mode and the large AISIN manual dial allows the user to effortlessly change from two wheel drive to four wheel drive mode.

These free wheel hubs are only suitable for vehicles that have manual locking front hubs.
